Back-to-School Cool, Part Deux

Sometimes, the sequel really is just as good as the original – and we are sure you will feel the same way about this BTS Part II blog post, with these fun looks for kids, teens and “the teach.”  Perhaps you saw them live on WFAA’s Good Morning Texas on Tuesday? Yes, those were looks from Southlake Town Square being featured on the show. Here’s a little inside intel for you on what makes them top-of-the-class trendy:

VineyardVines

For the Girls: See the bright denim?  Note the ruffles?  Yup, denim with a little something extra fun and a ruffled top are on the must-have lists for ladies of all ages.

We love this tween look from Vineyard Vines at Southlake Town Square.

Gymboree

For the Boys: Superheroes to the rescue! This fall, it’s all about saving the world, or, at least your classroom.  Superhero gear is all the rage, and we found this outfit at Gymboree at Southlake Town Square, which has a vast array of all things super-stylish for boys.  Another trend moms are loving? The layering. Not only is it great for that transitional fall weather (and we’re looking at you, Texas-sized air conditioning), but it’s also many looks in one.

Saving your style, saving your wallet, AND saving the planet?  OK, we’re in.

Buckle

For the Teen Ladies: Reality may bite, but this ‘90s fashion trend does not suck. Why?  It’s flattering, it’s comfortable, and it’s oh-so-stylish. Find your inner 90s Gen X-er in this flowy dress with muted tones and floral patterns, paired with this of-the-minute green military-inspired jacket, all from Buckle.  We love it with these on-trend booties and tasseled bag.

Tylers

For the Teen Guys: Concert tees are everything, and we are crushing on the way they are incorporated into this ‘90s-inspired skater look from Tyler’s at Southlake Town Square.  Hit a new high with colored denim, which we are showing here, to keep it cool. Or hot.  Or whatev. It’s cool, yo.

Loft

For the Teacher: We know you work with a lot of colors, but guess what?  It’s all about pink and neutrals for this fall!  This beautiful pink lace top from LOFT looks fantastic with these military-inspired green pants  (well, hello, Pantone Color of the Year). Another thing so on-trend for this fall is embroidery.  We love the way it updates this classic cardigan for a look that’s layered, stylish, and versatile for this school year. Special note for teachers and other educators: LOFT at Southlake Town Square offers you a 15 percent discount as a way of thanking you for educating our youth.

Are you cool for back-to-school?
